C MD NOW: Sudden worsening of a pain, severe enough that you can't stand up demands immediate attention., especially if possible spleen issue. Don't know your details re: health, etc. Mono is a common issue for18 year olds, can have enlarged spleen; spleen can rupture see your doc or go to er now.
