See your doctor: If you are having a lot of problems with your hiatal hernia, a visit to your doctor is in order. He or she may want you to have testing like a barium swallow / upper G series, CAT scan or upper endoscopy to assess the status of the hernia and associated problems such as reflux esophagitis and others.
