Medical History: First these conditions are not in any way linked. Second, the reason for having a hysterectomy is not just one thing. There are probably a hundred different reasons for hysterectomies. In general it sounds like your family has these problems which makes it more likely you will have to deal with them as well. But, there is nothing specific here to tell you.

Hysterectomy: Hysterectomy is just a surgical procedure. Hernias can be hereditary. Hysterectomies are done due to fibroids, bleeding, pain etc. There are certain genes that can predipose to uterine conditons and ovarian cancer and even colon cancer, all at the same time.
