There is no specific: Time to know when it is safe. Generally it is out of your system by 2 weeks. If you are a mom and breast feeding knock off the thc. You have big responsibilities now.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE: Urine exams for marijuana tested positive for a month. It is not advisable to take drugs while breast feeding.

Other concerns: Your baby passively smokes whatever you smoke, as it clings to your clothes, & gets a bigger " hit" from a smaller amount because of size. Being "stoned" harms development. Parenting when " stoned" puts baby at high risk for accidental injury or death. If you haven't smoked for 2 weeks, stay clean & sober & enjoy your baby. Engage in his/her development, nurture while nursing. Party time is over.

Stop smoking. : Second hand smoke and the smoke on your clothes are also harmful. Thc is stored in fat cells and can be detectable up to a month later. Stop smoking for the sake of yourself and your baby.
