Reactions vary: Lyrica (pregabalin) (pregabolin) is an effective medicine to lessen symptoms of fibromyalgia. Another example is Cymbalta which can also effectively treat fibromyalgia symptoms. It is rather common that various pain disorders respond differently to various medications. It is also common to see patients with the same diagnosis react differently to the same medication.

It is individual: Lyrica (pregabalin) at night can help pain and improve sleep in some fm patients. However, Lyrica (pregabalin) does not help others and can cause side effects that limit effectiveness. Since all fm patients are different, individualized treatment is necessary. Find a provider who will work with you to find the most effective treatment for your fibromyalgia.

Lyrics: More effective is probably not the right word. There are other medications such as Cymbalta (duloxetine) that work on different pathways to make you feel better. The use of more than one medication can reduce your symptoms.
