SSRI's: The ssri antidepressants have been shown to be very effective with fibromyalgia. Part of the reason is haw it calms and helps any depression the patient has.

Many options: Lyrica, cymbalta, savella (milnacipran) are all approved specifically for treatment of fibromyalgia. Gabapentin, amitriptyline, cyclobenzaprine, tizanidine, carisprodol, tramadol & fluoxetine in combination with Amitriptyline have all shown benefit for treatment of fibromyalgia in trials. There are other anticonvulsants, tricyclic antidepressants and muscle relaxers that may have benefit as well.

Medrol Dosepak works very well for my cervical stenosis / radicular pain during a flare up. Can you take Medrol every day safely in a lower dose and achieve the same results long term ? I already take Lyrica and Celebrex.
