Is a wedge fracture and a partially crushed bone in your spine serious?

Can be: A lot of pain is involved for up to 12 weeks. The fracture is more serious if any fragments from the fracture are "pushed" backward towards the spinal cord. Folks with this fracture should have MRI in my opinion.

Can be: Most spine fractures will heal within 3 months with bracing, limiting strenuous activity and close follow-up with a spine specialist. Some fractures require surgical stabilization and kyphoplasty is an option for elderly patients with compression fractures. Check out spine-health.Com.
