6-8 weeks.: Bone typically takes 6-8 weeks to heal. If not properly immobilized (like in a cast or boot or sling), the bones may take longer. Smokers also take longer to heal broken bones. If you're having trouble healing, a helpful addition to your current treatment may be a bone stimulator (your doctor would evaluate you and determine if you need one).

Varies: It varies based upon the bone involved and the specifics of the fracture. That being said, a general rule of thumb is that most fractures heal by 8-12 weeks. Again, there are certainly exceptions to that general statement. Don't hesitate to discuss the specifics of your case with your doctor.
