Glucose control: Hbga1c is a good measure of how well your glucose is controlled. In a diabetic it is an indicator of how well treatment is keeping glucose under control on average. It can also be used to detect diabetic or pre-diabetic patients in conjunction with glucose screening or tolerance tests.
