Seek consult: Occupations which inolve repetive movement of the hands can cause injury. If hand numbness in the fingers or pain occurs in such occupatons consider a consult with a hand specialist, neurologist, or a rehabilitation medicine doctor. Carpal tunnel syndrome is just one possibility but there are others. Sometimes physical therapy, splints or surgery can help.
