Limited corrects app: Benefits are not having unsightly brackets and wires. Drawbacks are it doesn't work for many ortho problems. Invisilign is often less predictable.

No metal brackets: Benefits: no metal brackets/wires. No trouble eating and maintaining oral hygience (because the patient can simply remove the clear aligners to eat, brush and floss). Risks: the length of treatment can be less predictable in certain cases. If the patient is not very careful and meticulous about wearing the aligners 24/7 (except when eating and brushing) the results can be delayed.

Lots: I am not sure there are any risks to invisalign, except you may not get the same movment that you would get with traditional braces. In my humble opinion invalign is for those who just don't want traditional braces, but orthodontists or dentists that use traditional braces can control teeth movement better.

Depends: The benefits are an improved smile and bite using devices that esthetic, relatively comfortable and easy to keep clean, and have no diet restrictions compared to traditional braces. The primary risk is that there will no improvement if the aligners are not worn as specifically prescribed by your orthodontic specialist.

Depends on your case: Braces and clear aligners can both provide dramatic benefits; however, an appointment with an orthodontic specialist is required to determine what is best for you and the associated professional fees. Often there not much difference between the costs of the two options. There are typically no difference in treatment times and discomfort with invisalign may be slightly less.

All Benefits: Invisalign can work for most cases. The two critical requirements are a properly diagnosed and planned treatment. Secondly; patient compliance plays a major role in the success of invisalign. Wearing of the aligners 24/7 is imperative except while eating. No uncomfortable and unsightly metal brackets along with not having to clean food out of brackets and wires. There are cases requiring braces.

Cost/time/look: essentially invisalign and braces do the same thing, but work in different ways. not everyone is a candidate for invisalign and they tend to cost more, but if you don't want metal in the mouth, it may be a great option. No real risks-- again you pay more to have the invisible look

Quality of care: Benefits: Will improve your occlusion by less than 50% (Braces are more than 90% effective) when done by a qualified Orthodontic Specialist. Almost invisible. Risks: May act as trap for acidic liquids. easily broken misplaced. Must be worn at least 22hrs/day. Don't work when they're out, as during meals/snacks/brushing. Braces work 24/7. Braces are still the gold standard.
