Always seek medical: If there is an acute change in visual symptoms seeing an ophtalmologist, a neurologist or at least a family dotor woudl be a start - neurophthalmologists specialize in visual problems that are neurologically based.

Good afternoon doctors. I have an ophthalmology question. My ophthalmologist said that I have a HST tear in my right eye retina and wants me to get laser for it. Could you please explain what this means? Could my vision get worse or could I go blind?

Would an eye exam be able to tell of I'm going blind? Vision have been fuzzy when reading and side of head pulsing but no pain.
