Sensible diet: The best advice is to compose a sensible diet with adequate levels of all vitamins and minerals, get regular eye exams, take a mulitvitamin daily, and avoid smoking. Unfortunately there are no study-proven treatments such as increased vitamin intake or changes in diet to prevent a refractive error (need for glasses) or cataracts.
