No: I assume you took too many penicillin pills. Penicillins have a very large dosage safety margin. We use extremely large doses in very ill patients. Even if you took 10 times the amount of penicillin or Ampicillin that was prescribed, other than an increased risk of diarrhea or yeast infection you would be ok. Most penicillins are excreted by the kidneys renal failure pts.At risk for toxicity.
