Garbage: A few dental films can be discarded with normal garbage. You can return them to the dentist.

Dental office: If the dental films are still in its packaging, i would suggest contacting a dental office and asking them if they can dispose of them for you. Unused dental films contain lead that needs to be disposed of properly. If the dental films are already developed and you are referring to the plastic film with the image on it, then you can dispose of those in you household trash.
