Shouldn't be there: You shouldn't have bad breath after dental cleanings. Bad breath can be a sign of several problems. Most likely, it is from excess bacteria in your mouth and possibly gum disease. (try improving oral hygiene and brushing your tongue.) it might be as simple as the garlic pizza that you ate 2 days ago. It could also be a sign of bigger systemic problems. Talk to your dentist first, and then md.

Closys mouth rinse: Bad breath is usually caused by the bad bacteria that cause gum disease. It sounds like maybe you should have treatment for gum disease and not simply a cleaning. For over 17 years we have been using closys mouth rinse and toothpaste for the prevention & treatment of both gum disease and bad breath since they are related problems.
