My biopsy results require further staining why is this and what does it mean?

Additional study: What tissue was biopsied? What is the suspected diagnosis? Pathologists often do additional study on the specimen to properly assess the changes in tissue and cells. Why the additional stains are being done depends on the findings on examination of initial stains.
