Maybe: If you have no fever, on-going vomiting, tenderness to compression of your abdomen, blood in your bowel movements, it's safe to wait and see.

Not at all: If you are already getting better than you do not have to worry about it viral illnesses affecting GI system will usually get better in 5 to 7 days with or without symptomatic treatment.
