Sure can!: I had gas pain that was worse than my later appendicitis. Gas-X (simethicone) helps a lot. But bad pain needs to be evaluated if it does not go away quickly with simethicone or an antacid. Splenda and sorbitol candies and drinks, also gave me pain worse than labor pain! Never again!
