Think i picked up some sort of illness in january. but now i have gastroparesis. could a parasite or stomach virus lead to this? doesnt seem to add up

Not likely: Gastroparesis is more of a chronic condition that is a result of anatomical injury or as a consequence of another more serious, long term, systemic illness (for example diabetes). More importantly, if you are having GI symptoms that are concerning to you or causing discomfort, I would recommend being seen by a physician in person to discuss further.
