It's illegal: As it is illegal to smoke per federal law, a conscientious doctor can't recommend marijuana use, especially in a forum like this. Smoking anything is never good for healing. Discuss with your surgeon.

Not recommended: Any type of smoking can decrease blood flow necessary for optimal wound healing.
