Yes: Smoking during pregnancy has been related to multiple complications such as lower infant weights and premature aging of the placenta there are multiple other complications that compromises the new born also. Of interest, women that smoke undergo menopause 1-2 years sooner.

Here's a start...: Well, you already know it's dangerous to smoke anytime - male or female, pregnant or not. Risks of smoking specific to pregnancy include statistically important increase in chance of fetal death, fetal growth retardation, placental abruption (can involved hemorrhage), hypertension and pre-eclampsia in the mother - and there are many more.
