A member asked:

My 3 year old daughter's breathing rate is 23/minute. is it normal? at what point i should consider that the breathing rate is high?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: The expected respiratory rate for a 3yo in good health is 25+/- 3 breaths/ minute with an outside limit of 25 +/- 6 before being called fast or slow. Things like fever often bring up the expected rate by 5 breaths/min per f degree.
