Rest: First day you can balance your checkbook or watch tv. Nothing that would increase your blood pressure or restart bleeding. Next day depends on you. Listen to your body. In any event, drink plenty of fluids to keep hydrated to help speed healing. Cold packs on 10 off 20 minutes the first eight hours will help reduce swelling. Pre operative ant- inflammatory such as Ibuprofen will also help.
