'adrenaline': Brain uses only sugar for energy; if it perceives a low blood sugar it tells the body to produce multiple chemicals , whose effects are to increase sugar level in blood. This includes epineprine/ catecholamines, which is commonly known as 'adrenaline'- side effect of it is to make heart beat fast and cause sweatyness, jittery, nervousness sensations.
