Not related: Type 1 diabetes is due to near total deficiency of Insulin and is associated with high blood glucose among other metabolic issues. Administration of Insulin to treat type 1 diabetes may cause temporary low blood sugar.

Actually not: Individuals with type i diabetes always have high blood glucose level due to the lack of insulin. Hypoglycemia comes from mismanagement of diabetes or is caused by intercurrent illness affecting oral intake.
