Warm compresses: Put clean, wet, warm compresses on your eyelid to help treat the stye. The stye is caused my an inflammation in the hair follicle of the eyelid. Antibiotics are usually not needed. Keep your hands away from your eyes- don't rub your eyes! call your doctor if it does not get better.

Heat pack: Heat pack, baby shampoo wash and omega 3 essential fatty acid by mouth may help. If does not go away after 1-2 weeks please see your ophthalmologist. You may need antibiotic combined with steroid treatment. If it does not help then you may need a surgical cleaning of the stye or steroid injection .
