Activity: It is wise to rest after the extraction to prevent further bleeding. The healing process is different for everyone however and some need more time than others due to their medical conditions and medications they are on.

Seven days: After dental surgery, it's important for a blood clot to form to stop the bleeding and begin the healing process. Exercise is definitely not recommended on the day of removal, or even several days after removal. Exercise will raise the heart rate and not allow blood to properly heal all the damage. I would suggest waiting 7 days before playing football. Regards.
