Yes: If you are HBV positive you can donate organs. They are then reserved to be transplanted into indivduals who are also hbv(+). Livers from patients with HBV are routinely biopsied prior to being accepted for transplant. For living donation the answer is a bit more difficult. Most likely no for a partial liver donation and possibly pending a converstion with surgeons and both patients for kidneys.
