Can a person who has had infectious hepatitis a be an organ donor ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hapatitis A: Surely. Most persons who have had liver infection from the hepatitis a virus recover completely and are immune to the disease. Unless the blood screening process detects other negative factors in the person's blood, then organ donation could be denied.
