If a person who was an organ donor committed suicide are their organs still used after their death if there not damaged?

Complicated: This is a complicated question to answer because it sounds like the organ donor is contemplating suicide. Furthermore, it sounds that this organ donor believes that someone else has a life worth living. This sounds like a conscientious person who needs help sorting out complicated feelings. Look into psychotherapy, it really can help. Suicide hotline: 1-800-273-8255 best wishes to you.

It depends: If the patient dies at the scene, their organs cannot be used for donation. However, if the person comes to the hospital and is declared brain dead, they can donate all of their organs. In addition, if the patient has no chance for recovery, and the family elects to withdraw care, the patient can donate their organs.
