Nonweightbearinf: The answer depends on where the break is, how stable it is, and the prognosis for healing. In most cases i allow strength training while seated (upper body and core only). In other cases i allow swimming. Check with your doctor before doing any exercise to make sure you are not doing further harm to your injury.

Upper body: You can perform upper body, and non weight bearing exercises. Consult with your physician to see what they would recommend.
