Not sure what your: question is. If you are a problem drinker (binge drinking/ alcohol dependence, drink and drive, etc) or have health or mental condition (s) that is/are exacerbated by alcohol consumption - than quitting is really important. If you need help consider your physician, Alcoholics Anonymous, an addiction medicine specialist or an addiction psychiatrist. Take care.

With dedication: First, you realize you have a problem, then with dedication and a lot of support from friends and family, you start the journey of quitting. Therapy may help, aa meeting are very beneficial, in severe cases, some medications can help with a doctors supervision.
