Does over-the-counter flouride mouthwash work as well as prescription flouride paste?

No: The paste is a stronger percentage and most importantly stays on the tooth surfaces for a longer period of time making it more effective.

No!: Prescription Flouride is usually 'stannous Flouride' which "sticks" to the teeth and has an extremely long duration of activity. Prescription Flouride is also at MUCH higher concentration.
