How irritating!: Red eyes in this case mean one thing - your eyes are irritated. Now the trick is to find out why. It could be your lens solution, the wrong type of contact (you may need the more "breathable ones", the wrong fit, leaving them in to long, a crappy environment (to dry, smoky, etc..). I would talk to my ophthalmologist to make sure fit and style are right for you, then try gradually changing things.
