Nothing different: May be you may need antibiotics to prevent infections, otherwise same precautions to be taken as for a normal person.

Antibiotics: Pre op or post op treatment with antibiotics can be helpful for diabetic patients, who tend to be slow healers. Relieving the bite (occlusion) can also help.
