NO: Many that advocate for either the medicinal or recreational use of marijuana tend to ascribe all sorts of beneficial effects, much like snake oil salesmen from earlier (and modern) days. The simple fact that marijuana has the best safety profile of any potential substance of abuse is probably reason enough to relax regulations in a society that continues to condone cigarettes and alcohol.

?: There is evidence that some cannabinoid compounds may help bone healing after fracture. This does not iimply marijuana helps with this. There is much research on different compounds in marijuana that do seem to have health benefits. But keep this in mind, marijuana is not medicine. Aspirin is in willow bark, when is the last time your doctor told you to go eat some willow for your headache?
