Specialist: Most dentists will have differing opinions about many things in dentistry. This would be true of any profession. You may want to ask a third dentist and share with them what the other two have advised or have one of the dentist refer you to a specialist and ask their opinion. In the end, after you have all the information, you will have to make the decision.

Proven Trust: I see patients all the time for second opinions. I believe healthcare (including dentistry) needs to be more collaborative. I have found time and time again, when i really listen to a patient, i can usually find an approach that makes both of us happy. We show photos of your own teeth so you can see that problems for yourself. Also read (a lot) of reviews.

Hard to say: Dentistry is not an exact science. Often, dentists will have disagreements and different opinions. This does not necessarily mean that one dentist is right and the other is wrong. In dentistry there is truly more than one way to skin a cat. You should probably go with the dentist you are comfortable with and trust more. If unsure, ask around, look at what others think, read reviews, etc.
