Several treatments: Coccyx pain is mainly treated with ice, antiinflammatories such as ibuprofen, and to take pressure off the coccyx by using a donut shaped cushion... These can be purchased from a drug store or medical supply store. Injections around the coccyx can also be done if the above do not work and surgery to remove the coccyx is an absolute last resort.
