How common is bone erosion? what could possibilities be for change over a months time on xrays? was the tip of coccyx but now halfway up sacrum eroded

Context matters: Whoever ordered the X-rays should be answering your questions. It does not matter what it could be or how likely it is. What matters is what it is and how to treat. If your doctors don't know yet, they certainly will be working to find out the cause. If they haven't told you anything yet, it could be they don't know yet. If they do know, they will tell the patient or his/her designee.

See rheumatologist : At your age it is uncommon and warrants a sophisticated evaluation. Ask your physician for a referral to a rheumatologist for an evaluation
