Months: Swelling always occurs so don't invest in alot of expensive bras after surgery and wait several months to see the final result.

Week to weeks: It really depends on the technique. I perform transaxillary subfascial breast augmentation and the breasts do not see much swelling at all. The axilla tends to swell more with a bit of risidual swelling for a couple weeks.

Depends on surgeon,: And the technique used, and the patient's blood pressure and activity levels after surgery. Blunt dissection can lead to lots of swelling, bruising, and longer recovery of weeks to months, but careful dissection, precise hemostasis, and gradual resumption of activities can see minimal swelling that resolves over a few weeks. Final results are evident in 4-6 months regardless.
