Why do people see floating objects while looking into the sky?

Entoptics: This is somewhat complex to explain but you are seeing the blood corpuscles near the center of the back of the eye. This is normal and is termed entoptics or flying corpuscles. If you see them then the back of your eye is healthy and your vision is likely to be good.
