Spontaneous mutation: I didn't know this but apparently dimples are autosomal dominant, which means you only need a gene from either your mom or dad to get dimples. If neither have dimples, then it's not likely for you to have dimples unless you have a spontaneous genetic mutation in which case you can then pass it on down to your children.
