What are the common procedures for referring an injured worker to rehabilitation?

Injury Recovery: The injured worked will start with a visit usually to his/her physician (or the er) for a history and exam. If there felt need for rehabilitation, the physician simply gives the patient a script for physical therapy (or occupational therapy). The patient then goes to a therapist, presents the physician script, and the therapy begins! most therapists accept worker comp. Yoga is helpful and free!

Several: Injured workers can be referred to rehabilitation by an occupational medicine doctor at the workplace if this exists. They can be referred by their primary care physician or by a specialist. They can be referred by a rehabilitation nurse.
