A member asked:

Im 32 weeks pregnant and my baby is too small if she hasnt grown in 2 weeks they will deliver her will she be ok?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Growth restriction: The failure of a baby to grow at the expected rate in later pregnancy can be caused by multiple issues. I've seen as many as 3 knots in an umbilical cord ( kid did ok eventually) and kids with a placenta the size of a bagle. There can also be issues with the baby. It makes sense to plan an early delivery if baby is not growing, more direct methods to supplement nutrition is available after birth.
