A member asked:

Will microdermabrasion really work?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends...: ...On what you want it to do. Microdermabrasion is a superficial peeling procedure that removes or lessens surface discoloration and sun damage. There is little or no recovery time, but a series of them is usually required. It works, if your expectations are realistic, and if you have it done by someone with the proper skills, i.e. Not some nurse's assistant in a spa.
