With carpal tunnel should i sleep with wrist splints?

Good idea: Futuro type splints should help decrease the night pain. Topical application of certian meds such as DMSO with steroid can be very helpful and a steroid shot into the area can be done, and if all these fail, a carpal tunnel release operation can be helpful.

Yes: Night time splinting can often relieve the frequent paresthesias that awaken patients and disrupt sleep with carpal tunnel syndrome. In my experience, this is more helpful early in the disease process. Other adjuncts such as steroid injections or carpal tunnel surgery are helpful if splints do not alleviate symptoms.
