Complications: Continued bleeding is a major complication after wisdom tooth extractions. By alcohol usage, you are increasing this risk of continued bleeding and not being able to get a good clot formation for healing.

It just isn't good: Alcohol can act as a thinner of the blood. It can lead to increase bleeding and/or bruising. If you had anesthesia as well it can slow the recovery from the anesthetic. Moreover, alcohol can negatively interact with your post operative medications.
