Able?: Able? yes as no one can stop you. A good idea? no. Is this your biggest concern about having your wisdom teeth out? That might be a concern in and of itself.

Not recommended: Follow your surgeon's specific instructions and avoid drinking alcohol first 72 hours. Just a common sense, alcohol and prescription pain medicines do not mix together.
