He covers one eye: If yur double vision goes away. Then you had double vision. Try it go see an eye doc.

Complete eye exam: There are lots of causes of diplopia. Generally, an ophthalmologist will perform the following exam in the office: vision refraction eye movement testing full dilated eye exam additional orthoptic or neurological examination may be neccessary this will guid the doctor as to whether other testing is required.
